Here are some things to keep in mind when retiring before 65 years-old:
– Retiring at 62 requires at least 5 years of service, regardless of the total number of years worked.
– Having 20 years of service and being 60 years old also qualifies for full retirement.
– Minimum Retirement Age (MRA) is crucial for retiring with 30 years of service.
– There is no penalty for retiring at 62 with less than 30 years of service.
